How my business idea was born

I can’t say there was a moment when I was struck by a brilliant business idea. From an early age, I had chosen my profession, and I viewed entrepreneurship as the best way to implement my ideas. I have always felt that law needs to be transformed, and I am still searching for the right answers to how this should happen.

Useful habits that help me at work

I believe I have two particularly useful habits. The first is devoting a lot of attention to planning. I enjoy thinking through different scenarios and drafting possible courses of action. The second is more professional in nature — empathy. The ability to sense other people’s struggles and pains, and to understand what truly matters to them.

The most important advice I’ve ever received

It came from an experienced lawyer: “Never work with those who pay little. They demand a lot and never value your work.”

The three core principles of my business philosophy

About ten years into the company’s journey, we defined three values that guide us: beauty, efficiency, and simplicity. Together they form the acronym BES. At first glance, these values may not seem particularly motivational, but for me they became an important tool for evaluating my own decisions.

How we overcame a business crisis

In my field, the main crises occur when large teams leave the company. At such moments, one must activate all available resources, set aside dreams and long-term business plans, and start working as if for three people. It is also critical to see priorities clearly, because during a crisis it is impossible to achieve every goal or save everything.

What is the best advertising for us

The best advertising is the kind that doesn’t try to sell anything. In my opinion, the most effective advertising speaks the language of shared values.

What money loves

Money loves those who respect it — but do not bow down before it.

What my business will look like in five years

I believe that in five years, artificial intelligence will be driving the economy, and my business will continue to exist because it will have found its place in this new era.

Where I find inspiration

I draw inspiration from life itself, from the stories of my clients and partners, and from the events that happen around me.

What’s hot in my business right now

As someone who has been saying for ten years that lawyers will be replaced by machines, the hottest news is that I was right. And in my company, we are preparing products that will accelerate this transformation.

A question I would like to be asked

“What is your greatest fear?” And my answer would be: “Not having enough time.”

My advice to entrepreneurs

Do not be afraid of your failures. Love your work more than the profits it generates.
