Canada extends preferential trade regime for Ukrainian goods

The Canadian Government has extended for another 12 months a regulation that eliminates customs duties on Ukrainian goods imports.
Ukrainian goods will continue to enjoy duty-free access to the Canadian market until 9 June 2026.
Canada’s Minister of Finance and National Revenue, François-Philippe Champagne, stated that Canada had reaffirmed its commitment to a just and lasting peace in Ukraine through military, financial, and humanitarian support.
He noted that the decision underscored this support, fostering Ukraine’s economic resilience and demonstrating Canada’s resolve to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Ukraine for as long as necessary.
