Ukrainian Food Producers Showcase the Country’s Export Potential at Anuga 2025

10.10.2025, 08:43

From 4 to 8 October 2025, the Koelnmesse exhibition centre in Cologne, Germany, hosted one of the world’s largest international food and beverage trade fairs — Anuga 2025. Held every two years, Anuga traditionally brings together producers, distributors, importers and buyers from across the globe, serving as a major platform to establish new business contacts and expand international cooperation in the food industry.

Anuga 2025 broke previous records, with over 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries presenting their products. More than 145,000 visitors from over 190 countries explored the novelties  and established new business connections.

Ukraine was represented within two National Stands, as well as four collective and individual expositions. For the first time, over 100 Ukrainian exporters have showcased the country’s agri-food potential.

Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, highlighted: "It is very important that in such difficult times for Ukraine, fruitful cooperation between Ukrainian public and private sector organisations, strengthened by Swiss support, contributes to the development of agri-food exports from Ukraine, building new partnerships and supporting long-term cooperation between Ukrainian exporters and international buyers. It also helps to visualise Ukraine on the food map of the world, among all the countries represented at the international trade fair of food and beverages “Anuga”. This shows all Ukrainians and foreigners that the agri-food industry makes an extremely important contribution to the development of the country's economy and demonstrates Ukraine's resilience and recovery in the international arena".

The National Stand of Ukraine with organic exporters was organised by the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” (EEPO, Ukraine), together with the national project Diia.Business, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, with support of Switzerland.

Seven companies were exhibitors within the Stand: Catanzaro Eurasia LLC (Alta Kraina), Organic Milk LLC, Terra LLC, Panfruit Ukraine LLC (Panfruit), Sofia Nuts LLC, DPK “WAIZ” LLC (Dear Baby), and Brain Box LLC (Hroom Room).

They presented a broad range of certified organic products, including frozen berries, juice concentrates, dairy products, instant cereals and soups, flakes, groats, freeze-dried berries, fruit and vegetable snacks, nuts, children’s cereals, as well as organic snacks — crisps, grissini and crispbreads.
For the first time, Brain Box LLC has presented its own exposition under the Hroom Room brand within the National Stand. Participation in such a large-scale trade fair offered the company its first experience of engaging with international partners.

My imageThanks to active and productive engagement, Ukrainian exporters conducted over 450 B2B meetings. Visitors to the National Stand included importers from France, the United Kingdom, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Italy,  Ireland, Spain, Iceland, China, Turkey, the USA, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Additionally, 11 Ukrainian organic producers showcased their products in the innovatively designed Anuga Organic Supermarket area. The shelves styled as a modern organic supermarket featured both classic and innovative products from the organic sector. 5 of these companies were the participants of the National Stand, while 6 were those represented by individual stands. Altogether, 37 Ukrainian organic higher value added products were presented, ranging from organic cereals, snacks and baby food to dairy products, freeze-dried fruits, groats, flour, and frozen berries.

Oleksii Grushetskyi, Acting Director of the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” (EEPO, Ukraine), spoke about the transformation of Ukraine’s organic sector amid the full-scale war, the efforts of businesses to maintain their international presence, and the support provided to exporters through governmental and partner initiatives.

My imageIn addition two Ukrainian organic companies from the National Stand, Panfruit Ukraine LLC (Panfruit) and Brain Box LLC (Hroom Room), were selected for the Anuga Taste Innovation Show, a prestigious exposition recognising the most interesting innovations and trends in the industry. The international jury selected 62 exceptional innovations from more than 1,900 applications, highlighting the products distinguished by their concept, sustainability, market potential, and creative presentation. Panfruit’s freeze-dried blueberry and blackberry ice cream was ranked among the Top 10 innovations, demonstrating the creativity and competitiveness of Ukrainian producers on a global stage.

My imageAdditionally, two Ukrainian dairy companies, Dubnomoloko LLC (KOMO) and  Prime Snack LLC (snEco), participated in the Anuga Taste Innovation Show, highlighting the sector’s innovation and modern trends.

“Anuga is a global platform for sharing experience and establishing new business connections. For the Ukrainian exporters participating in the National Stands this year, the event offered an excellent opportunity to present their products. It is particularly gratifying that several Ukrainian companies were recognised among the most innovative participants of the Anuga Taste Innovation Show, underlining the high standards and competitiveness of our producers. Once again, Ukrainian businesses have demonstrated their ability to compete on the global market by meeting the highest quality standards,” said Oleksii Grushetskyi.

At Anuga 2025, Ukraine also presented the National Stand for frozen products, organised by the Ukrainian Berries Association together with the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” (EEPO, Ukraine) and Diia.Business, with Swiss support. 8 exhibitors showcased frozen berries, fruit, and other agri-food products that enjoy stable demand among European buyers.
